Meet ‘East of Eden’ Star Zoe Phillips
Meet the actress at the center of the young love triangle.
Zoe Phillips is stepping into one of literature’s sharpest young love triangles as Abra in East of Eden — and audiences are already asking who she is.
Where is Zoe Phillips from?
Phillips comes to the adaptation with a growing screen résumé and the kind of steady early credits that tend to precede a breakout prestige role.
What has she been in before?
Before East of Eden, she collected supporting and emerging lead work that put her on casting directors’ shortlists for literary dramas. Abra is her highest-profile part to date.
How old is Zoe Phillips?
She’s in the age range the adaptation needs for Abra’s coming-of-age arc — young enough for the triangle’s urgency, grounded enough to hold scenes opposite a stacked ensemble.
If East of Eden lands the way the marketing suggests, Phillips is about to become a name romance-and-drama fans track season after season.
