ENA’s new drama series, ‘The Day of Kidnapping‘, is said to be premiered this year. Recently, they unveiled an exciting teaser poster that instantly grabs attention. The poster is illustrated and suggests the connection between the story and the characters, sparking endless imagination and building anticipation.

The Day of Kidnapping’ is a thrilling and emotional story about an unlikely partnership. It revolves around Kim Myung-jun (played by Yoon Kye-sang), a clumsy kidnapper, and Ro-hee (played by Yuna), a brilliant 11-year-old girl. Despite their differences, they join forces in a unique collaboration. Together, they embark on a captivating and unpredictable journey to uncover the truth. ‘The Day of Kidnapping’ is based on a popular novel by Jung Hae-yeon, known for its thrilling stories. The drama is brought to life by director Park Yoo-young, who has worked on well-known shows like ‘Model Family’, ‘Love Alarm Season 2’, and ‘Kingdom’ Season 1. Yoon Kye-sang portrays Kim Myeong-jun, as a clumsy and not very smart kidnapper. Yoon Kye-sang, known for his versatile acting in different genres, takes on a new role in this drama.
Park Seong-hoon plays the character of Park Sang-Yoon, a detective who is determined to catch Kim Myung-joon. He is sharp-minded, able to make quick decisions, and possesses excellent analytical skills. As he investigates the kidnapping case, he faces unexpected revelations. Park Seong-hoon skillfully portrays the emotional journey of his character, capturing every detail with his impressive acting range.

Yuna’s performance is highly anticipated, especially since she beat the tough competition with the role of ‘Rohee’. Rohee is not your typical child; she has a clever and cynical mind, and she forms an unusual connection with kidnapper Kim Myeong-jun to overcome her own crisis.
The chemistry between Yoon Kye-sang and Yuna is expected to be a highlight of the show. Shin-rok Kim plays Hye-eun Seo, Myung-joon Kim’s ex-wife, whose true feelings are hard to understand. After leaving Kim Myeong-jun and their daughter for three years, she comes back and proposes the kidnapping of Ro-hee, which sets off a series of events.
